I have opened my own tarot reading site that is different from all the others. I know there are millions out there that claim that, but I can prove it.
First off, I do all the readings personally in my home. The cards are hand drawn by me. I use either Runes or one of three different decks, depending on where the spirits lead me. I never rely on a computer generated deck..they are all from my decks that I have used and loved as well as blogged about on this site for years.
The charging system is definately new. As Pagans we undertsnad trade and barter. Now while this is the internet and I cannot accept a promise of a gift mailed to me, let alone I'd not be willing to give out my mailing address, I do let you..yes..YOU set the price. Thats right..you tell me what it is you can afford to spend, what you want and I can suggest various readings that will address the needs of your life and purse to boot.
Just today I was able to help a lady. She said her budget was $25.00. What I I could do for her to best help only cost her $15.00...thats right..I could have gone for the whole $25.00 but why..why do that when it could be done more efficiently for less money?

Okay a friend of mine just went through Gustav and sustained some fairly serious damage to her home and business. She has an online group and asked me to post updates on what was going on with her so her friends online would know. Well only a few people bothered to reply, until she gave me the go ahead to post a nasty-gram.
Now I have people telling me I don't get their situations. Well IMO I feel this way..if you were 'too busy' to reply to almost a weeks worth of messages about what someone is enduring, how can you all of a sudden be unbusy enough to reply to the nasty gram and for those that get a daily digest, why isn't there at least one reply to the updates, if you genuinely cared and if you just now got unbusy?
Bottom line is I just don't buy it. I had one person tell me they were 'scared'..of what and again with why the hell are you there? You were too scared to post a reply to updates, but not too scared to, once again, defend yourself agains the nasty gram..am I nuts? Do I expect too much?
Okay so last week I put my book on the market. I have even managed to sell a couple..YAY! However, since then I had an email telling me my file size was wrong..so this morning I had to learn how to make the file into a 6x9 instead of 8x11. I did get my copy yesterday of the 8x11 and in all honesty it is a truly beautiful book. I am actually reading it all the way through which is what a proof copy is for. The art work on the cover is gorgeous. The pic of it online just doesn't do it justice at all.
But let me tell you all of the down sizing is tough. You see when I changed the size of the file it added more pages..a lot more as a matter of fact..which threw off my table of contents..so I made a choice..to delete the numbers of the table and just keep the headings..do you guys think that'll be confusing? Some books don't even have a table of content..I dunno I just thought I would share this..
Okay so I wrote abook and am attempting to have it published through LULU books. In order for the book to be distributed through them they insist you buy one copy as a proof. I did that and almost a week after they send an email telling me the file size is wrong and not only do I have to change the file size I also have to order a new book. I asked them if they would refund the first book, which has not arrived, and they said no.. I have to buiy another one. So now I have to go to my bank, see if they won't get my money back on the first one for me and then upload the new file, which I have to create and hope that is correct. Then I have to buiy they new version. Does this sound right to anyone ????
